{coffee corner}

February 8, 2012 § 4 Comments

in the mornings we like to listen to jazz albums on our record player and pretend we are just as cool as starbucks.

there is something about the mere smell of coffee that makes us feel caffeinated and ready to start the day. so we looked for some inspiration, and then went to work creating a little counter space we like to call coffee corner.

we used our dymo label maker to identify all of the different tins of tea on the top shelf. we picked up a vintage soda crate at granny’s attic, and thought it added a much needed corral for all of our coffee accouterments. and of course, a mason jar for the coffee grounds.

    Thanks for sharing this. I love it! We use the Keurig, and the tins you used would be a great way to organize and store the little cups. I have seen the coffee creamer/sugar jars at a local restaurant supply store, but not tins. Did you get the tins at a retail store? Thanks!

    • You are so welcome! The tins were actually from a gift we received from the Coffee Bean, like these. i just removed the labels and cleaned the tins… but i’m sure you could find similar tins on etsy or at a craft store.

    Love this! I pinned this to my Pinterest so hopefully you’ll get more visitors. I live in Nor Cal. Does Granny’s Attic have a good selection of items? Maybe the hubby and I may have to stop off their next time we go to SoCal.

    • Thank you so much! I am originally from Sacramento 🙂 Granny’s Attic and Grandpa’s Antique Depot are right next to each other in Temecula, CA and they have the hugest selection we have ever seen. We spent nearly a day in there and didn’t even see all of the vendors. We would highly recommend a trip if you are ever passing through!
