{before & after: hallway}

we are sort of enamored with decorating every square inch of our house. we love to make every aspect of every room really feel like ours. with that being said we have been hard at work decorating, painting, finding, and refinishing walls and furniture ever since moving in last april.
take a little peek at our upstairs hallway.
the carpet was torn out and replaced with beautiful wood laminate. we re-finished the bannister (and all remaining 90s-brown wood in the house) a nice bright white. and all the walls have been painted.
jesse designed the black and white concert prints from some of our favorite concerts.we then had them printed poster size and framed. we like how the black and white against the grey wall turned out.
thanks for looking.
What color and brand of grey paint is it?
It is the “perfect” grey that I have been looking for!
Oh please share the wall color, it’s stunning!
So beautiful! But what brand and color is the wall paint? 💗
I’m so impressed by your work! I have the same problem. The trim is an ugly cinnamon wood color and all the wooden doors are the same as well. I have been contemplating on what to do ? I love what you have done . I would love to know the colors used on walls and trim .
Beautiful work !
Great job! Love the concert poster idea. Good luck with the rest of the house!
Hi!
Did you happen to find the brand/color of the paint you used here? 🙂
Along with everyone else I would love to know the exact wall color & who makes it. My upstairs hall needs serious help, it’s still “builders” Navaho white!😐
Like everyone else, I’m dying to know the brand and color of the grey paint. Great choice!
It is gorgeous! What a transformation. What color are the walls?
What color did you use on the walls and what brand!? GORGEOUS!
Hello! I love the way this hallway turned out! I was wondering what color of paint you used for the walls?
Thanks!
I’m replacing the carpet soon and would love to know the name of the wood laminate you used. Thanks!!!
What are the wall colors?
Just wanted to know what color is on the walls it is beautiful
Where did the mirror come from?
Color of Grey wall?
Love this! Wonderful transformation! Would love to know the paint color!
Please can I have the brand and wall color?
What color did you paint the walls, I love it!
I like the new flooring you put down, could you tell us what store and what brand/color it is 🙂 Thank You. All the hard work really paid off!
Hi, could you please tell me the wall color? I’m looking to paint my house and I love that color!
WALL COLOR PLEASE????
I am loving that flooring, what brand and color is it?
I love the wall color, can you pretty please share what it is? I’d love to use it in my bedroom!
What a nice difference in the hallway. Can you share what paint shade and brand you used on the walls?
Hello, you did an amazing job! Love this space. Were you able to locate the wall color? Also, what were the paints used on your railing?
So gorgeous! We’re hoping to use laminate in our new home and I LOVE the look of yours. (I would love to do hardwoods, but dogs, toddlers and budget are making the laminate the more attractive option!). Do you know the name/brand of it?
The timing of this is perfect for me. I love what you did and was going to put a mirror at the end of our hall too and I can see by what you did, it looks great! I love the flooring and was thinking I had to carpet, but that is a great option. Can I ask how you did the stairs? Did you carpet or do a wood treatment on them?
Hi Barbara, We love mirrors and use them in every room to create an illusion of more space, highly recommended! We have dogs so the first that goes in any home is the carpeting, we had the entire upstairs flooring and the stairs done with hard wood laminate. So it has the appearance of hardwood but won’t scratch and is super easy to clean! We have had the same flooring installed in two of our homes and we have loved it in both.
The entire transformation is beautiful. Did you ever find the wall color?
What color and brand are the walls? It’s beautiful!!!
Like the Color on the walls! Could you tell me what Colorado that is?
Hi. Looks great. Can you detail the process for refinishing the banister? I want to do that to our house, but am afraid it is a ton of work…
I hate to say it but it was a TON of work! I did it myself when we first moved into our new house and it took me one week straight working all day on it. There are about 5 steps and each step has to dry for a specified amount of time before you can move on. The hardest part is stripping the coasting off the existing wood. I would not recommend this method if you have children because it can absolutely not be touched while it is drying or you will see the prints. It was tedious and although we love the outcome, I probably wouldn’t embark on that mission again. However, it is very affordable (only a couple hundred) as opposed to getting it professionally refinished for probably at least $1,000.
I was wondering what color you used on the walls? BTW, the transformation is amazing!
I’d loooove to know what the name for that gray is!!! Please! 🙂
We’re you able to locate the wall color??
Hi there! I’ve been looking for that exact color scheme, what paint colors did you use to achieve this look?
What color is on walls?!
How hard and time consuming was it to paint the banister/railings? Could you please provide the steps you took and the type of paint you used? That would help a lot! Thanks for sharing!
Very pretty! Love that gray!! Whose is it and what is the name?? Please?
Can you provide the color of the walls?
I will try to dig it up for you!
Yes please let us know the wall color!!
We’re you able to “dig up” that paint color?? It’s really a beautiful shade. Thank you so much.
Do you mind sharing the name of the color and brand of the grey paint?
What a beautiful transformation! The Hardwood flooring looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Than you so much!
what a transformation…it is beautiful
thank you so much.
No one has mentioned the extra large framed mirror at the end of the hallway. Great idea for opening up and brightening up that area. Very
clever.
